The Ellinwood Swimming Pool is an important and integral part of the total summer recreation program. The pool operates with the highest possible degree of safety, effectiveness, efficiency and commitment to the safety of the swimmers.

Summer Season Passes

Family Season Pass

The Family Season Pass provides unlimited entry to recreation swim for the entire summer season. The pass includes people from one household, and must include one adult member in the household.

• Full Season Pass: $80.00 for a family

Individual Season Passes

The individual Season Pass provides unlimited entry to one person for recreation swim for the entire summer season.

• Youth / Adult / Child: $30.00 for an individual

Daily Admission Charges

For individuals without season passes, the daily admission prices are:

• Youth / Adult: $1.50

The Swimming Pool offers a baby pool that is free of charge.

Water Fitness

About the Classes

• A fee may be assessed at the time of registration for the fitness class.
• All classes are held at the Ellinwood Swimming Pool.

Pool Olympics

Pool Olympics are held during the After Harvest Festival and are open to children of all ages.

Groups & Parties

Private Pool Parties

The Ellinwood Swimming Pool is available to rent for private parties. Party date and time must be reserved and approved by pool management in advance.

• Private Pool Parties can be scheduled to begin at 6:30 P.M. and run no later than 10:00 P.M.
• The cost is $50.00 per hour with 1 lifeguard; an additional $20.00 per hour for each additional lifeguard.

How can parents prevent accidents?

• Enroll children in swim lessons
• Make sure children aged three and under are at least an arm’s length away or less
• Continuously watch all of your children, no matter what ag

Facts that parents may not know

• Shallow water is the most common area for drowning, especially in water that is three feet deep or less
• Sending your child to hang on the wall by the lifeguard stand is actually a blind spot in their scan

Remember

The lifeguard’s duty is to prevent accidents from happening. They are responsible for the overall safety of a facility, you are responsible for your child’s safety.
